Ride into different world

I started reading this book as my friend strongly recommended this to me. After finishing it, I couldn’t stop myself recommending it to all my friends who are interested in reading books.

It is book about giesha world. It is a story about an innocent girl who become a geisha and about her experiences. The story itself may not the best I have ever read but the way the author described things is unique, atleast for me.

It is amazing to see the author having such a nice grip on the leading character, Sayuri. The way Sayuri thinks clearly chages as she grows up. Reader can’t stop thinking in the same way as she does. It is impossible for the reader to not to get involved in the story himself.

It talks about human relations so nicely. It explains jealous, selfishness and other human feelings indirectly using the characters so nicely.

It also have a very touching love story. This love story itself is worth reading this book again and again. It sure touchs reader’s heart reading the Sayuri’s feelings about her secret admiration for her lover.

It also gives information about geisha’s culture and the problems, japanese faced, during the world war.

It is must read for all the readers who wait for ’different-from-crowd’ fantasy books.
