Little late.the movie is out of cinemas but still writing its review
The title suggests what the movie is about and shockingly its plot is as same as Onir’s 2008 Movie’Sorry Bhai’ but that film sank without any trace so no one has any clue about it
The movie is a romantic comedy starring Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif and Ali Zafar
The Movie
Luv(Ali Zafar) just broke up with his girlfriend and is depressed so he wants to get married and settle down so he gives the task of selecting his bride to his brother Kush(Imran) Kush settles for his friend Dimple(Katrina) but then he falls for her
Katrina is lucky mascot, inspite of her lack of acting skills she has managed to deliver big hits with her charm and thats what works here, she plays a spoilt and lil bit insane gal.She tries hard but manages to Overdo her part.Maybe its time for some acting lessons
Imran too wins hearts with his charm, he plays this good natured introvert like guy well.Yup his acting is still not good enough but somehow manages to pull this one off
Ali surprisingly is a better actor inspite of both of the others being more experienced.He is a star in making and should keep up the good work
The best part about the movie is its Music, Sohail Sen manages to do a great job after his duds like Whats your Rashee and Khelein Hum Jee Jaan se, the songs like Choomantar and the Mere Bother ki.will keep you in good mood while there is a Rock number Dhunki a sad romantic Ishq risk and 2 high energy nos Do Dhari and Madhubala
Direction is slick Ali Abbas Zafar manages to do a good job inspite of lack of good script and a few bad actors, there are no dull moments in the film.
Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is positive movie and will keep you hooked and lil bit happy at the end
please dont expect a highly comical or a great movie before watching it you might be dissapointed
It is just one of those time-pass one or two time watch movies
It might soon premiere on TV so just see it once.
