What is the social impact of this movie?

I really don’t know what kind of novel this is based upon. Anyway, commenting on the film-o-graphy. The 2 hour movie starts with the middle class Delhi chores of a couple who is committed to family activities and suppressed ambitions of a would -be-singer portrayed by Raima.

She struggles the way to excel as a pop singer and with self motivation-rises to a pop star. The direction lacks in the first half but builds tempo in the second half with synergy. The music is good and the soundtrack is excellent-yet the crew has to build directional synergy.

Raima is excellent in both dualities. The other crew is decently nice. Randeep Hooda plays a macho character in the movie-looks ok. The role Arbaaz is offered doesn’t suit his personality.

The various characters don’t have coordination among st themselves which is evident in the movie. The movie could have been made more interesting by cutting those serial-like settings like the neighborhood and cheap sets. Overall the movie is very slow but may build more popularity in small towns-definitely.
