Hi Friends, I am a neutral fan. I love to watch movies with good social message. Actor Vijay’s most of the recent movies has got hood messages and social awareness. I went to watch Mersal movie with the same thought on my mind. Accept the fact that this is a mass movie only for diehard vijay fans. And yes some scenes bring on goosebumps. Still the whole film felt like its a mixture of scenes and themes from Actor Vijayakanth and Rajinikanth movies. The next thing is BGM. This is not the best of ARR. Only two songs are making us to hum along. As far as acting is concerned, I liked S.J.Suryah. He has done a wonderful villain role. He depicts the present corporate hospital scenarios. Vijay has overacted in many scenes. Though the scenes about taxation has been made as issue, still I just see this is added for the movie entertainment purpose. But on the other hand if you see, Actor like Vijay, has to send correct messages to his fans. Since he is a mass hero and many fan followers are there, he should have taken a little more attention in choosing these scenes. Though we cannot blame him entirely for this fault, hope next time he pays little more attention towards dialogue selection.
