Is Meru cab running a racket on BIAL Road Toll ?

Folks not many of you would know that if you get a green color cab from your house to airport to BIAL you have to pay 75 Rs as toll and while coming back have to pay another 115, a double whammy. And the receipt that you get is a Meru receipt(Ha! ha!) for NHAI toll. While if you have a white colour airport cab then you dont need to pay the Rs 75 toll charges. Doubt if many know. Obviously customers will be taken for a ride with this unjust enrichment of cabs+Meru owners and obviously the white colour cabs will also charge you that 75 feigning ignorance of the policy. Stay alert, raise your voice

Dear Neeraj,Navayuga Devanahalli Tollway Pvt Ltd(NDTPL) has implemented one way Toll of Rs. 75 and two way Toll of Rs. 115(within same day). However, NDTPL is collecting this toll charge only from Airport to city Rs. 115 for every trip. We do not want our passengers to get inconvenienced and pay higher charges for Airport to City or vice-versa, therefore the "Toll charge of Rs. 75 per trip" will be payable by customer as applicable, only when the customer is travelling in Meru Cab & crosses the NDTPL toll post. Our chauffeurs are instructed to issue a receipt for the same at the end of the trip. All our chauffeurs are trained to ensure this and any deviation is strictly dealt with. We sincerely hope that you understand this constraint. If you have been charged anything other than the said amount(i.e. Rs. 75), kindly share your Booking ID and our rep will get in touch with you shortly.Warm Regards,Team Meru
