A brand does not mean good service.
I have been booking Meru cabs for a while now for short distances. and the experiences have just become worse off late.
Cabs sometimes dont come on time, drivers suddenly have problems with their cars, systems or something else and of course there is no regard for passenger safety and security. 2-3 times(out of 10), I have noticed that the drivers are shabby and absolutely obnoxious.
The worst of the lot is ofcourse the customer call centre who do nothing but say sorry repeatedly for issues. They refuse to acknowledge that customer could be paying for their negligence and of course, there is no compensation for any delays or deficiency in service.
I am seriously considering filing a consumer complaint against them.
Best guess is lack of good competition is making the company lax in delivering service.
Hope that you guys get better service from them.
