I would like to narrate about my two experiences with them.
First Experience:
I booked a cab from Karthik Nagar (Near Marathalli) to Majestic Railway Station (which is around 25KMS), I was told that the cab would be at my place 30 minutes before the scheduled pickup time, but I had to call them up again just 15 minutes before to get confirmed that the cab was on its way. Luckly it came just after the scheduled pick up time.
Second Experience:
This time I wanted to go from Karthik Nagar to KR Puram raliway station, when I called the customer care guy to book the cab I was told that they do not service rouotes via KR Puram and when I enquired why he told that they just don’t provide because of some problems with KR Puram area (God only knows what he meant by that), on further enquiry, if they could provide me contacts to other CABs the guy retorted back rudely telling me that MERU does not have any tie ups with other CAB/travel agencies and they do not provide any service and cut the call abruptly.
Luckly I was serviced by some other Travels on that day. But the strange thing was, on reaching KR Puram station I was able to see a MERU cab at the railway station premises.
Their cheap mentalilty really took me by surprise.
Oh yes I wanted to mention one more thing, you have to call and wait for atleast 15 to 30 minutes to reach the customer care guys to get such stupid responses from them.
Oh yes they do charge more for some of the services which they do not provide but only have it on their webpages and on their company quotes.
MERU cabs please go and learn some professionalism first.
