Excellent execution of plots. Different stories woven to end together. Great music that will keep humming in your head for a long long time. The lyrics are so apt to the situation that it stays with you.
*The way Anurag basu has managed to show love that blossoms in different situations and handled the topic of extra marital affair so delicately to actually make the audience connect with it is an effort worth applauding unlike KANK where the same topic is so crudely dealt with... Inspite of being not so liberal thinker, I actually felt bad for both Shilpa shettys and Shiny Ahujas characters in the end.
Its spun off so well that even ever-so-irritating-kangana-ranaut also did a good job and was surprisingly-tolerable.
This is one movie of the year which took off slowly only by word of mouth. Its marketing budget was very low key unlike over-hyped movies like RGV ki Aag that do whatever little business basis the all the hype only and after the first three days of release miserably fail to attract audience. I saw Metro only during its 4th week of release when everyone aorund me had seen it and were going gaga over it.
Hats off to the makers of Metro. Its my latest favourite movie of the season.
