Metro ford is the most pathetic when it comes to Customer satisfaction. When my fiancé and I went there in our car people kept asking us to park here and park there each time we almost parked someone came up and told us we couldn’t park in that spot. Why they don’t have a board that tells customers to park beats me!
Anyways, we ended up parking right in front of the exit gate. hope this gives you a picture of how far down the lot we were pushed around.
After we went in the show room there was really no one to greet us so we walked up to one of the sales people there and enquired about the Ford Fusion Diesel. The guy offered to show us the car but after a quick look around said the car wasn’t there. I had already seen and driven the car so I proceeded with discussing the details of buying it. He quickly quoted the price and I asked him what he would give me with the car. The guy practically pounced on us saying that he can’t give us anything with the car. No discount, nothing free.
He then said “if you want you can buy a Fiesta and I can give you a free MP3 player”
Fact is that that MP3 player is provided by Ford motors as a festive offer and he as a dealer isn’t doing me any favors.
When I asked him about discounts for Employees of HP, Indian Oil etc he quickly brought another price list that quoted an 18K discount. I then asked him what he would offer for these employees besides this discount and he quickly told me that this discount is between the company and Ford motors as a dealer he is not involved in it and will only deliver the car. I said “fine what if I buy from you as a regular buyer what "Discount" will you offer me?” and he said nothing! Basically he wasn’t even willing to take a rupee off his margin. Through out the experience I kept getting the feeling that they had a “don’t care attitude” and their company motto was "if you want to buy a car from us fine if you don’t then take a hike!"
It was the most pathetic sales experience I’ve ever had in my life. The guy didnt even have a calculator at hand for us to work out rates on taxes and stuff. When I asked to get one from the front desk he said its "missing" can you imagine that, a sales floor with no calculator. He offered to give me his phone to use as a calculator!
When I told him that my fiancé had purchased a car from their showroom before and asked if he could give us a discount as a loyalty thing he just said "if you have bought more than 5 Ford cars from here I can give you some discount”!?$##
Bottom line is, I really liked the car but have decided never to buy or service with Metro ford. I am from the service industry and like to be treated nicely. I know for a fact that Im never going to get that here.
