I switched to Metro PCS in October of 2006 after hearing a co-worker rave about the service. She had the service for 5 months before I switched. I had been a Verizon Wireless customer for two years and had no issues with the service but was tired of overages and keeping track of my daytime minutes. The signal is strong even in the dallas suburb I live in (Rockwall) and I rarely have dropped calls.
This is the best deal for anyone who is on a budget or doesnt want to have a "nasty surprise" in the mail. Customer service is also courteous and rather prompt. Ive had questions on my plan before and always felt like I was treated as a valued customer. The unlimited local calls, long distance, and text messaging are ad added benefit to the sterling customer service. I wish all carriers were this good.
