I am back again !!
Sometime back my friends come up to me and go there is this wonderful place which has opened up in new friends colony called Mezz. After braving the brilliant after hours rush of Nehru place and one of those beautiful six wheelers called Blue lines almost ramming me off the road we did reach Mezz . Tucked away on the first floor opposite to Pebble Street .First looks when I walked in was , WOW !! this looks like a typical filmi bar , dim blue lights , loud music which obviously I could not figure out and a huge projection screen . They started playing Floyd on the projector after a while though .
Service was alright nothing to talk about though.This place also has a tendency to get very very crowded so get in before 9:00 if you want to get a seat .
What caught my attention the first time was one DJ who played some excellent music , think he turns up only on weekends and the other one who plays only metal and refuses to play anything . We did need to leave once because of this guy . Got a terrible headache listening to metal and that too at full volume.
Prices are very decent , there are no happy hours though . Dont know if this has changed yet or not.
Somehow I got the feeling that this pub looked like a typical druggy joint the types of which you get a lot in Europe
So if u want to go out get smashed and listen to Pink Floyd and enjoy psychedelic stuff , this is the place to be .
Not a place to go with family and friends for dinner. This is one of the few places which has captured an all out pub attitude and not a restaurant cum bar kind of an attitude.
So if you are going out for a night to get smashed , go here have a good time , dont drive back :-D .Dont take some lady here to propose to her though , might not help too much , she probably wont be able to hear you :-D .
Like I said I am very confused whether to recommend this to a friend or not , my review above should hopefully help you make your choice .....
