The Metropolitan Mall in Gurgaon makes for a complete shopping experience!
I know sounds cliche’d but well that’s how u best describe it, coz it’s also a window shoppers delight :) Every visit I discover it all over again n it never fails me.
First things first, there’s parking available at ground level, but few cars make it there- most have to settle for the underground parking, due to shortage of space.
Even if u make it to this mall on any weekday, u shouldn’t be surprised to see it crowded after 11 am. So, u can well imagine the scenario on a weekend.
As you enter the mall u pass through a customary security check n then a pin up board greets u with the latest offers & the grub u can grab- quite informative. This mall has four levels, the top most being reserved for the food court , the PVR Cinema
& the games section which also includes a bowling alley.
The first three levels: Ground, first & the second try their best to catch the customers eyeballs. They are an Eclectic mix of eateries, durables, designer Clothes, Spiritual hangouts, bakeries, electronics, music, art, books, Beauty Parlour, florist & anything u can possibly think of!
Brands on display: Reebok, W FOR Women, Bata, Archies, Benetton, hidedesign, The Good Earth, VlCC, Fern n Petals a few to name.
Eateries/ Bakeries: Chor Bizzare, Yo China!, I’m here sugar, The Doughnut Factory, MC Donald’s, The Tropical Cafe, The Paprika, Barista, The cookie Man.
I f still u can’t figure out what to eat, head straight for the food court, where u r sure to surrender your taste buds. There’s a huge variety to choose from - chaat, chinese, thai, panjabi, fast food, lebanese, South Indian, Italian..u name it n it’s there!
For those people who have small kids it’s absolutely a steal at the ground floor with lots to keep the little ones busy while you shop. there’s also one indoor adventure sport to try out!
It’s also house to Shopper’s Stop, the one-stop for every need. A kiosk at the ground level dispenses tickets for the movies at PVR, which is another convenient feature. PVR’s Europa- the movie lounge is a new concept, which is picking up.
So, if u want to let your hair loose and just enjoy any day of the week with your loved ones or alone just head to the Metropolitan mall, for a comprehensive package deal!
oopsss! Forgot to mention the mall won’t leave a dent in your wallet as there are products n prices for all to shop till u drop!
