I had a very poor experience. The traffic generated was awesome. My overall views of the website zoomed. But it did not stay to read my posts or comment on them as is the usual case. I looked up Google Analytics reports and found that it was because the traffic stayed on my page for few seconds only. Then they clicked to some ad and left.
The ads clicked were of mgid. All attractive ads with semi-nude enticing photos. The net result was that my traffic went to mgid, whereas their traffic that came to my site did not convert. The traffic that came was useless and was only interested in clicking other ads. I suffered high bounce rates and a drop in page rank. Mgid is a useless traffic generator. I removed the widget and am now again trying to get my original traffic back with writing quality posts. A useless waste of time, a useless loss of my traffic. All because I believed mgid would help my site. Actually, they helped themselves on my behalf. A totally useless traffic generator.
