My uncle bought this phone two weeks back. I am amazed by its performance. The UI is butter smooth and does not lag at all even it is a custom UI. Micromax has tried its level best to keep the UI as stock android one it seems. The other great thing is even the screen resolution is 199 ppi , the screen is far more better than Moto E. I have compared both the devices side-by-side , did’nt find any pixellation issue.
The color reproduction is fine too. Viewing angles are a plus to this phone, the IPS 4.7 screen has better sunlight visiblity too. The processor is a beast in its class. The antutu score is 17101. You can understand how well it will be while performing any task. Hard core games play butter smooth. I have tried Asphalt-8 , Dead trigger and Real Racing 3 on this device and the device performance is pretty impressive. Coming to camera , the pics take outdoors are good but in lowlight the picture becomes grainy. This device is also capable of recording 1080p videos using third party softwares like Cinema-FV-5.
The only downside in this device is its battery life. The battery performance is below average and should have been more efficient. Elsewhere , this is a best deal. I am pretty much impressed with Micromax Unite 2 and definitely I would suggest this to a friend.
