Micromax not a cheap mobile anymore

When this company launched its smartphones in India, its motive was to capture the market. And thats why they launched devices at very low prices to lure customers. But gradually the devices rates are going up without any great new features. The features are available in lot of other devices. UI is also near to stock android. The biggest setback is battery department where MMX do not think seriously. I mean 4000mAh battery with 10hrs of talktime is pathetic.

Lot of devices feom MMX are like that only. When Unite 2 was launched it was averagely priced against other devices with similar features available in market. So what extra MMX is offering is a question to ask? Why should I buy a MMX product. Unite 2 screen is ordinary at 480x800px. At the price of 6K this is overpriced considering many other companies have devices with 2gb ram and custom UI with better camera and battery performance than MMX unite 2.

And not to forget the after sales service that MMX service centres have in case I need to go there. Helpless situation. Wait for long period of time and leave your mobile there for almost a month. Lots of parts become obsolete as support for models is minimum from company. Very difficult to maintain this device. Device body very flimsy with big chunks at top and bottom. 2000mAh battery is only adding weight and  behaves like a 1200mAh battery from a reputed company. Gone are the days when MMX used to make customer friendly devices. Now they call themselves as premium smartphone manufacturer, market leader and similar words. This MMX trend is taking them in the league of Intex, swipe, lava, lemon, like companies. Looks like MMX lost the path of affordable smartphones.
