Hi friend, this review is not at all biased with negative opinions so I like to bring in the practical set of technical specs reviewed step by step.
An impressive amount of RAM of 3GB is packed with this handset but its not at all supported by Octa core processor rather it comes with Quad core processor which is way slower in performance while running Apps of today as the memory allocation requires faster cache and quicker processing with multiple threads.
While talking about snaps they are not so impressive though they are quite good in broad daylight and the 13megapixel rear camera is useful in daylight photography, this does not come with OIS so the videos are shaky while shooting, the front facing camera is an ordinary quality camera which is not impressive at all.
The Audio quality of micromax canvas has always been loud and steady though it doesnt provide high quality sound at this price range in camparison with other brands, the headphone provided is also not gold plated thus the durability is less than those with gold plated audio jacks.
The OS version Android 7 i.e. Nougat is only managable with better configured devices as its capable of various futuristic technology which drives many processes in realtime rather than its previous versions of OS. So, in the long run this phone will start lagging with greater load and more apps as you tend to use it for your need based work.
For display what I have noticed is it comes with HD display and that is too in 5 screen size where as other brands are offering 5.5 screen in this category of their smartphone ranges.
In view of connectivity it comes with Wifi & Bluetooth but not with OTG / NFC support this is a huge gap in this segment as people cannot use any attachment devices through usb. Also, the minimal stuff a FM RADIO is not present in this handset.
The storage is somehow adjustable though not in any standard mark as it comes with an internal of 16GB which is mostly eaten up by the Nougat OS and Apps and you get an External Expandable storage upto 64GB this also is a big turn off for todays feature based phones. Dont know what this company thinks while designing their smartphones.
As of above this was my review of the newly released Canvas 2 ( May 2017 Version ) . If you have questions or suggestions dont forget to comment below. Have a nice day.
