Well, I have bought micromax canvas evoke just a week ago and I got a chance to fully experience the phone. The design is really good with 2.5d gorilla glass and a 5.5 inch screen. With a 16 gb internal memory and a 3 gb ram and a very good processor, a price of 8499 seems too good to be true. But, Yes it is only available in flipkart and it is indeed 8499.
There was no overheating when used for long hours. No stalls while doing something important. But as for as my usage goes, here’s the catch.
The battery drains superfast. With constant use, I couldn’t even get 4-5 hours before it reached to less than ten percent. Even the charging takes a lot of time, I have been charging for 4+ hours before I used cm security and enabled charge boost, now it is taking a little over 2.5 hours to charge from 0 to 100. If they would have improved the battery, this phone would have been more than perfect for me.
