I purchased the phone in august 2013 and after using the phone for just two weeks it started showing me an error Damaged External SD Card, and a few days later the touch pad stopped responding, I tried the same SD card on my pc and other mobile the card was fine and working properly so I came to a conclusion the it was the problem with the handset,
I took my handset to micromax service centre at Dreams Mall Bhandup - west, First they said they will try by reinstalling the OS, I tried to explain them it was a hardware issue but they were adamant on reinstalling the OS in my phone and to which I had to comply as there was no other option. The reinstalling of OS didn’t work and the problem of SD card still existed.
So now they decided to take my phone for repair and gave me a recollection time after 45 days and asked me to keep enquiring in between just in case my phone got repaired early and came before time to the service centre. Which it didn’t and took the whole time slot and the repair they did was change my PCB.
Even today I still face the SD card damaged problem, But it doesn’t bother me anymore as I have given the handset to my 11 yr old daughter to play games like temple run and subway- surfer.
Overall very bad experience in using the phone and still now no new updates and patches provided by Micormax.
