You guys are doing great job in releasing awesome phones. I am a great fan of your phones. Many of my friends want to switch to Micromax from their other phones. But they are only worried about after sales service.
I own a CANVAS HD myself and my brother has CANVAS 2. But when my friends asked about my phone. I have given good reviews about the phone as the phone is very good, but not about the service.
**Because:**
I am from Bangalore and there are only 2 service centers in Bangalore. And only 1 service center in Richmond road, Bangalore, which does the hardware changing etc and the other service center is only for software update. I had a problem with my phone earphone speaker and headphones. I had given my phone for service and my earphones for replacement, they told me that they need 7days time for repair and replacement of the headphones (phone is under warranty).
This is too much time when compared to other phone service centers like Nokia, Samsung and Sony. After 7days when I called continuously for 2 days to know my phone repair status, but nobody picked on the other end. So to know any information about our serviced phone we have take a leave from office and travel all the way to the service center. I did the same and my phone was not yet ready on the 10th day and service people told me to come after 2 days to collect the phone and the head phones on the same day, So I asked for a proper number of the service center this time, so that I can check whether my phone is ready or not before taking permission from office and going to service center.
But again the same problem nobody picked the call. So I went on the 15th day and my phone was finally ready. But again a great disappointment, because I didn’t get my headphones replaced on that day, they told that they were out of stock and need couple of days to get the stock. I again went on the 18th day and finally got the headphones replaced.
I am a gadget freak and have used Sony, Nokia, and Samsung phones before Micromax. They all were very good in service and used to return my phone in maximum 3 days with servicing my phone.
My request to Micromax is please concentrate on your service. If you improve your after sales service you guys will rock the Indian mobile phone market.
