Hello friends.I have recently purchased a smart phone Micromax A290 on 8.09.2017, within a month the handset had a problem-the charging connector was not working, and I had to take it to micromax service center, located at manglore. karnataka. There they couldnt locate the problem and after 4 hours they gave the mobile phone to me, without repairing it, and just updating the software without my permission removing all my personal data. I complaint through mail, to Micromax India, but they didnt replied to my mail. They do not value their customer.
then again I took my handset banglore service centre located in city, they told me, it will take 12-15days to repair. There was no information within 15days, I called them on 21.11.2017, they replied it is not yet done, we will inform you as soon as the set is repaired, then I spoke with the customer complaint support Noida, With Mr. Ravi Ranjan, he told me that they will need more 30days to repair the set. I put a complaint for replacement of the set, but the person was rude, aggrogant, he juz took a complaint and gave me a number: MMX2111146238, then again on 22.11.2017 somebody from micromax calls me and informs me they will take 20days more to repair. again 26.11.2017 a representative from Dumdum micromax service center, calls me and tells me that the hand set was pending for so long at their centre, and not yet repaired, they wont receive any product here, and needs to send the handset to headoffice and will take more 45days to repair. Means total of more than 2 and a half month to repair a connector.
They are just fraud, they keep their customers in dark, do not value their customer, till date they simply kept me informing that it is on process whereas it was just kept in service center. They simply harrass their customers. Please be aware before purchasing a micromax product, their after sale service is horrible, their representatives are uneducated, illeterate, rough and rude. Please do not purchase a handset of micromax as they are fooling the customer.
