Hey everyone, using the Micromax Canvas Lapbook L1161 for over a year now. Seriously, when you buy a laptop for 10k what do you expect? It has windows preloaded, it has fabulous battery backup and a neat steel silver sleek design! It hasnt crashed, no fatal errors or blue screens till date, the sound still works, wifi adaptor works, no complaints! If you want top end processing and have graphic intensive work, well, you need to spend more! But for basic computing, mails, internet browsing - its mind boggling you can get something this cheap that is working reliably a year later! Is it a dream performer with a brilliant display and brain numbing speed and efficiency? No. But for the amount I paid - nothing else comes close. Yes I would have liked some more memory - but thats nothing a flash drive or portable storage can’t fix. Yes, having to feed in the date every morning is a bit bugging, but that’s what I knew I was getting. So this rating of 4 stars is purely for the value you get at this price. Why not 5? Come on - for 5 stars you need a brilliant product at a terrific price - not a decent product at a terrific price!
