I used this phone for about oddly 2 months here is a short review of the phone itself. The phone is priced about Rs.10, 000 which I feel its very highly priced for the specifications its offering. The look and feel of the phone is quite solid its made of high quality plastic. When you hold the phone it really feels sturdy. But the phone fails miserably in its performance.
The micromax canvas pulse is a 5 inch HD display of 720p screen with a 13 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front facing selfi camera. It runs on Android lollipop with a 16 GB inbuilt internal memory supported by a 3 GB of RAM and a octacore processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. The memory is expandable upto 32GB. The smartphone is complimented by a 2100mah battery. Well now coming to the actual performance , The phone has a decent display and the colors are sharp and vivid. The camera on this phone is let down because the images took on this phone seems washed out when we zoom in.
Even the front facing camera should have been better. Though it has a 3GB of RAM the RAM management on this phone is pretty bad because when we run multiple apps then this phone seems to slow down and you get a lot of heating issues when we play big games. I personally dont like the user interface on this phone. The UI is not optimised properly. Final reactions about this phone are while the specifications look really good on paper but the performance does not support it. The build of this phone is good but the battery is a big minus it only lasts for about 6 hours. There are so many phones in this price category we have the latest MI Redmi Note 3 and LeEco Le 1s which in my opinion are much better options than this phone.
