I had bought Micromax Q2+ phone in Hyderbad. Inspite of being a relatively new company, the phone exceeded my expectations. A qwerty phone for Rs.2000 is pretty good. It has a phone memory of 232 kb which can be extended to 8GB.
The speakers are simply outstanding and have very good clarity in sound too. About a month after I bought it my friend had fallen down from the cycle with the phone in his pocket. The phone looked normal in the exterior but when turned on displayed a distorted white image. When I took it to the dealer, he said that there was a display problem and must be taken to the service centre to be repaired. When I went to the Secundrabad branch, the crowd was simply too much!
It was like a railway station only the space was much smaller. Since I did not have time, I left. On another day I went to the Dilshuknagar Branch. This 5*5 sq. ft. "office" was located in a remote area in some small lanes..That too on the third floor!!! After circling the whole of Dilshuknagar I found it and went in. When I asked regarding my phone the response was "Shap is clozzed.
Timing vonly upto Six Thirrrty". And the time was 6:35!!! Shop was wide open, but they refused to take my phone. So I want to tell all people who want to buy this phone, This is a very good phone and value for money. But customer care is very bad. So treat it delicately unless you want to run around for getting your phone fixed. Good Luck!
