Preface
Internet browsers are still behind the times but IE (Microsoft Internet Explorer) is an excellent Microsoft product especially for loading a flash site without crashing the browser and not causing the computer lock up [unlike Netscape].
Quality Of Program
Microsoft Internet Explorer is great for beta sites. Why? Well, considering that I usually can use the back and forward buttons without having to reload the pages often so I can view who has rated my opinions; reload only about one [1] out of five [5] times as to where Netscape have to wait for reload three [3] out of five [5] times.
One of my favorite features is open new window command [Apple+N]. This command opens a new window and will usually load your current page into the new one. I use this feature sometimes instead of using the back and forward buttons because it is usually faster and more reliable than using back or forward buttons to navigate the web. Another great feature is using right click on a link and using open [selection].
I have not experienced the browser Crashing any of the three Macs I use everyday. It runs smoother than Netscape 4.7 because it is scripted to read practically any type of multimedia script or movies or flash. Flash is notorious for causing Netscape to crash every single time; so this is one reason why I tend to favor IE when browsing multimedia sites or any site with flash.
Personal Thoughts
I think that this Microsoft product is an excellent piece of program for Mac O/S and by far is hundred times better than Netscape on any day of the week for downloading music or viewing flash sites.
I Prefer IE on Mac
Because it has not crashed [or at least not yet]. =)
And it is not as violatile as Netscape for jamming up. IE has excellent universal browsing and is easy to use.

•Print Preview is a new feature to IE. I like that it has been finally added because it is annoying to print only to find you get the left half of the page.

•AutoSearch takes you exactly where you want to go.
•Related Links can be found with an easy click of a button.
•Windows Radio Toolbar allows for tuning in to a radio station while you do your work while online.
•E-mail with Outlook Express
•History bar keeps track of where you’ve been by date, by site, by site visited most often, or by the order of sites you’ve visited today. I love this especially for finding a site when I can not remember the site name.
•Offline Browsing allows for reading offline saves time and money by letting you read web pages when you’re not connected to the Internet.
•Web Accessories to customize Internet Explorer.
•Content Advisor allows for you to control what is viewed online.
•Search Assistant allows you to choose your search engine and type of search.
