The Lumia series from Microsoft is just outstanding.
And if you love Windows OS & have a budget under 9k, lumia 640 is the best smartphone to opt for.Let’s look at it’s justification:
1.Comes with Windows v8.1 OS, which is upgrade able to Windows 10!
- 5inch HD screen with capacities touchscreen.pixel resolution is 1280x720.
3.Corning Gorilla glass 3 protection.
4.PPi is 294.
- 8MP rear & 0.9MP front camera.Don’t compare the quality of android smartphones with windows, especially in camera department.A 8MP camera of windows is of superb quality and same applies to the front camera.
6.Full HD recording both in front and rear cameras.
7.Quadcore processor with Snapdragon 400.games like asphalt are a delight to play, even with a RAM of 1GB.
8.Comes with 1 year free subscription of MS Office.That’s amazing!
- Comes with 1GB RAM & 8GB ROM.Don’t worry about the RAM.It’s more than sufficient for windows OS.and for storage memory, you can insert a SD card upto 128GB, which I don’t think is less at all.
10.A 2500mAh battery, which is simply the best in class as compared to other smartphones.Believe me, it withstands around 1.5days even after using it continuously with various apps in the background.You won’t find a better battery backup than this one at this price(or even above it).
11.Light, accelerator, proximity, magnetometer sensor.
12.Comes with numerous features like RadioMix, lumia camera etc, which are the best you can have to use.
13.Comes in 4 different colours:cyan, orange, white, black.I preffered the black one because it has a matt finish, thus no finger prints on the back.others are glossy, but attractive.
The only cons could be its unavailability for 4G network.Both sim slots are designed for 3G service.Also, there is no USB cable provided, and the quality of the charger is mediocre.Earphones are fine. To sum up, if you are looking forward for a Smartphone under 10k, go for lumia 640.even if you are an android lover, try this one, and for sure you won’t regret later. Hats off to Microsoft!
