This product from Microsoft is supposed to be a business phone. Though it looks like one it’s far from it. I have been using this phone for last 6 months and it gave me a hard time.
Following are the drawbacks of this phone-
-1GB RAM is insufficient even to manage basis functioning of the phone. Loading. Loading. There is less app availability being a Windows phone. Those available don’t function properly as there is very little support for these apps. The message keyboard is unimpressive as its swipe function is a distress for the user. You swipe "distinct"; it gives "district"! Very poor battery life(2000mAH). Don’t even think of playing games. To make it run one day you have to keep in battery saver mode. One has to use internet judiciously and ensure no background apps are active. Now the biggest shock- MS Office is not free! After a few months of free usage, you can’t create a new excel or ppt. You can only read what you have in mobile. You can’t edit the files.
Phone is highly priced at 14000 INR.
Phone has an 8MP back camera and a 5MP front camera. For the price range this is disappointing. However camera performance is not bad.
To conclude, it is not a wise choice to buy this phone if you wish to enjoy features of a smartphone.
