In few months back I purchase microsoft surface pro4. in my experience share on microsoft surface pro 4.The Performance is great. Not perfect for gaming but otherwise great. Battery life was much shorter than I expected.
Issue
There were initially many issues at start, such as the issue where the SP4 doesn’t turn on. These issues however were finally resolved by a recent software/windows update. There is still 2 major issues affecting the surface pro 4 which prevents me giving it a 5 star. The battery life is poor; getting an average 4hrs, occasionally higher or lower. If you’re someone who wants to take it a day out without a charger, I would not recommend this.
The second major issue isn’t entirely microsoft’s fault. The DPI(Dots per inch) is too high. In some ways, this is a good thing; clearer screen, better quality. However, many applications(listing some but not limited to: autocad, photoshop, etc) do not support such high DPI. This results in either the text in the application to be too small(VERY SMALL), sometimes being unreadable, and sometimes even blurring out; ruining the quality. This issue however is not Microsoft’s fault but mainly the publisher of the Application. Unless these 2 issues are fixed, I won’t give this a 5 star.
Who would I recommend this product to?
Anyone who wants a nice tablet/laptop, doesn’t need to worry about the money(premium price tag) and has a powerpoint to recharge this often. There are many other laptops with similar specs for a cheaper price if you think the price tag is too high
