I purchased the console back in Dec 2012, today I faced issue with kinect, its not moving vertically to adjust the position. I did all basic troubleshooting steps given in microsoft website but no luck. I contacted both chat and voice support and got response that they have stopped servicing or replacing out of warranty consoles or accessories from Dec 10th.
They suggested me that I should buy new kinect, you can use it as long it works then throw like any other china made electronics. I purchased console within India thinking that will get service support but that is not the case. Please think over before you buy Xbox, no service after warranty.
