Microtek Sinewave Inverter UPS SEBz-850VA -USELESS

I purchase my inverter S.N. 131GWBB 344233 last year & S.N. N7EGHNX17123 last to last year.


The inverter was purchased 2 year back continuously gives a hissing sound.The one purchased last year had to be replaced within a month as it started giving problem, so I insist on replacing this for which Microtek agreed, so I had to take it to Peeragari Service center in Delhi.(only one in Dehi), which is around 25 km from my house.


What I saw was that they don’t have a proper channel for such incoming inverters. They have taken my inverter in, and asked me to provide check-in slip, but I couldn’t get a one even after 1/2 hour of waiting time. I started getting worried because my inverter get mixed somewhere. I had to inquire with the Receptionist, then I got the switch. I had to wait there for around 2 hours to get it replaced, then too after so many inqueries to receptionist, it she had to every time called inside staff, to know the status, and she was unable to know to whom it was assigned... who is working on it.


So I assumed there is no process being followed over there. Then the person who came to assist me in getting my inverter placed inside my Car I came to know that, The senior most boss handing service centre is a woman, who is not very strict as well as no knowing anything about the processes. 2 days back a Microtek service engineer told that she is very abusive to inside staff. On last 2 occasion when I booked my complaint the customer case executive, in IT industry which is known as L1-staff(Level 1 staff) is not noting down the inverter problem properly, they’re leaving everything to service engineer to find-out & resove. If they book the complaint properly, it can be resolved in the 1st visit itself.


In my recent complain no 742840, the service cant happen without the reset switch, because it is damaged & was supposed to be replaced, but it was not mentioned by customer care executive.


Is it really worth to buy such product which can’t be serviced properly?


My Sukam inverter FAIRY Queen model which I purchase in 2004 served me very well for last 10 years, it damaged by Battery fumes, because of my mistake.
