Review : Can it be more bad than this......after watching lucky..... I wanted something that would refresh me ... so I saw this poster and walked in(Damn me)....
Thought I would get something nice (I had not read any preview for this movie)but how could god be so kind on me on this weekend.... Million dollar baby.....4 oscars(Am I right?) and this is what I get...
Before I start the review I would like to tell something about my taste of movies: I for one believe that movies are made for entertainment..... so I like movies which are light, funny, comical.... I do not mind action as well, but should be accompanied with some good scripts and dialogues.....
I seriously do not like any kind of serious lessons being tought or some sad endings...(Can be mysterious) more often than not, I find myself in a dilemma as to appreciate the acting, the direction , the screenplay of a movie or go home sad because I did not get my entertainment from the movie......
OK now the movie... Superb plot, superb direction, acting... evrything great but I would like to ask the director that of all the lessons and struggle stories I have read during my school days how was this different.... nothing..... I did not listen and I did not capture....
More importantly its the frame of mind that you are into is important when you go watching a movie.... Certainly after watching lucky ... I wanted some refreshing stuff....(Was going for ’’Meet the Fockers’’, could not get the tickets....)
Million dollar baby was ’’black’’ type of a movie(I did not like black as well) just showing the negative part to it.....
