Cold and correct, must watch

Three imperfect lives come together to create yet another imperfection with all the beauty that one could find in a non ’’Sex and the City’’ America; where dreams, fed by left overs, go beyond the daily.

Morgan Freeman narrates the story of a boxing trainer, Frankie (Clint Eastwood) and an average trash with a passion for boxing (Hillary Swank). Morgan Freeman, himself, works at Frankie’s gym, as a help. What connects the three of them is a certain passion for boxing, with each having their own take on it.

The average hollywood flick on boxing has passion coming in your face through the sweat and blood of their characters. Here the passion is a series of idiosyncrasies. The passion, however, does not always ride WITH the most able.

With an extraordinary smoothness the movie peaks and hits the very nadir of human fortune within the span of a few hours. Frankie traning Swank till first round knockouts become the order, is a treat to watch. But there’s a lot more to this movie than a few rounds of adrenaline. Do watch...
