I read the long & informative review written by Mr.Sujay Marty.Kudos to him for such review.
I can only add up the feeling on behalf of general public who inadverently had ben termed as the middle class sufferer concerned about everything under the sun protesting & seeking changes & getting older in the process with dreams of a better India in mind & heart.
When a child is born he or she needs protection & help & so was India in her infancy when she had to go in for PSU’s in initial stage as there were hardly any private sector as big to come up with such high investments & also there were concerns about core industries which were life line for growth & prosperity of the nation.
Much water had flown since then the old & young all know about difference in management of PSU’s & private cos but we had to wait for long to get a man like Mr.Arun Shourie & Mr.Jashwant Sinha to give a start to this disinvestment work & show it to politicians that they should better spend their life in politicking & allow few professionals in their team to try to govern so that atleast we reach to some stage where we can look back & say that ’’yes we have started correcting ourselves only give us some time & support & we will ease up the financial burden to some extent.
I have watched Mr.Shourie since his Indian Express days & I can vouch here is a man who does not bother for position or power but will try to do justice to the work bestowed on him immaterial of criticism or pressure.Let us give him the moral support as fellow brethren.
