Sonia Gandhi's attachment with Vandematram

Only 2-3 years back indian public was concerned about the indian culture adopted by a foreign origin lady Sonia Gandhi.Although on technical ground, this issue was turned down and when she declined to accept the Prime Minister’s office, people were treating her like lady of sacrifice.Later when on the issue of office of profit, she resigned from her MPship and recontested, she not only won the election from Rae Bareilly with thumping majority, but again she was praised for her courage. This is also noticeable that the same Congress Government has got passed the Bill on Office of Profit(Amendment Bill(2006.Despite President’s objection on certain, this Government did not make any change in the proposed and passed bill, which led to President of India to give his ascent. This is the real face of the Congress Party.

Now again came 7th September, when whole nation was singing either Vande Matram and Sare Jahan se Achha Hindustan Hamara. But alas Sonia Gandhi did not attend and participate in any Vande Matram singing ceremony, raises doubt that she has got no interest in Bharatiya culture and traditions.

Most surprisingly our PM also did not attend the function.Man Mohan is a Sikh person. Sikhs have played a very big part in getting independence of Bharat as compared to some other Bharatiya communities. Even Man Mohan Singh, in spite of being a Sikh did not take part in any Vande Matram singing ceremony. By taking the hint from his master, he followed her example of not attending the Vande Matram singing ceremony, thus proving his slavery to Sonia. If Sonia had participated in any Vande Matram singing ceremony, chances are then that he might have also participated in Vande Matram singing. When Man Mohan speaks, he normally speaks in English while the national language of Bharat is Hindi. If he is not speaking in speaking in English then only God knows what he is saying. It has been noted by many people that when Man Mohan speaks it looks as if he has got no confidence upon himself and looks as he is speaking in apologizing tone.

Why party chief stayed away from Vande Mataram show

After 20 hours of hedging over the reasons for Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s absence from the party’s main function celebrating 100 years of national song Vande Mataram in the national capital, an embarrassed party establishment on Friday claimed that "she was not invited".

"Yesterday’s function next to the party headquarters was organized by Congress Seva Dal. It has been the convention that the party chief attends a function only when she is invited, " party spokesman Satyavrat Chaturvedi told reporters.

Earlier on Thursday, senior Congress leaders had given different explanations for Sonia abstaining from the function, betraying their own confusion.

While a Congress general secretary said, "She was probably unwell, " Seva Dal chief Prahlad Yadav had suggested that it was due to "security consideration".

Rattled by the BJP’s sharp criticism of Sonia Gandhi and the Prime Minister’s abstention from all Vande Mataram functions in the national capital on Thursday, the party leadership seems to have adopted the line suggested by AICC general secretary Janardan Dwivedi that "She was not invited."

The party establishment’s belated attempt to attribute her abstention to a "clerical error" has failed to convince even the party’s rank and file.

"How is it possible that the organisers and AICC functionaries forgot to inform the party president about the historic function?" wondered a senior party leader.

A section in the Congress is unhappy with the unabashedly pro-minority stance of some Congress leaders and fears that this might provoke the type of reaction that the Congress flip flop in the Shah Bano case generated in the late 1990s.

To cover up the embarrassment caused by her abstention from the Thursday’s party function, the party spokesman reverted to the old refrain that the it was the Congress that had adopted Vande Mataram as the national song.

He alleged that the BJP was making an issue out of nothing and levelling "baseless" charges against the Congress and its leadership.
