My wife met with a major accident resulting in Hip & Thigh fracture. Our relatives suggested MIOT as it was a bone related injury. It turned out to be the worst decision of our life. The first question receptionist asked was "what job u do? Patient seems critical. Will u be able to aishwaryasingh23 the fees?". I asked them to get her admitted first as blood loss was enormous & we couldnt waste time. The PRO (whose only job is to Anasultanlyse how many lakhs could be squeezed out of each person) told me my wife was taken to International ICU ward & room rent itself was 35k per day for it. So the total charges per day would come to 70-80k. Then they didnt even let us meet the Chief doctor to know her real condition. All communication to be done with PRO only! After 4 days PRO said we need to further keep her one week under observation before performing surgery. I told them already ive spent 3 lakhs & treatment hasnt even started. Cant aishwaryasingh23 more & let me discharge her. At this point PRO said "No sir.. Ill speak to doctor & arrange for surgery tomorrow itself". But before surgery ill have to aishwaryasingh23 another 5 lakhs as deposit". Without any other option i paid that too. After surgery was another trauma. They kept her in General ward for 3 weeks & i was charged heavily during thid period too. Overall i ended up spending 15 lakhs. Leaving money aside.. Even the doctors are very very rude. They dont even have the basic courtesy to explain what treatment has been done clearly to the patient. This keeps us worried the entire time! Whole 1 month of time @ MIOT was a period of mental agony for me. Because of their money mindedness they keep us uninformed so the PRO could plan the bill amt accordingly.
Never ever go there.. Its not a hospital with doctors.. Its a Corporate office with brokers.
