I built a new home and installed a Mr. Slim split system. This was less then 3 years ago. I live in VT so it doesnt get used very much. This spring it stopped working. A call to the installer and it was determined the compressor went. It was covered under warranty. After it was replaced I was presented with a$800 bill for the replacement of a warranty part?
The cost to repair under warranty was 10% of the total cost. A call to the installer and the factory got me no where.
I also own commercial and rental property and I can say it was my last Mitsubishi product.My suggestion, find a company that stands behind their product. Good system when it works. poor customer service and warranty.
