After long gap kalyan ram is back with MLA . his last outing Ism was dud at box office. After patas there is no strong hit for kalyan ram. this time he pair with kajal after 10 years .and he join hands with director upendhra madhav. lets see how is it?
Plot: Kalyan(Kalyan ram) is happy go lucky guy. every one call him as MLA(Manchi lakshanalu unna abbayi -A boy with good qualites.) one day he fall in love with indu(Kajal) she is the owner of multinational company. but her father put a conditon to become an MLA. On the other way MLA Gaddappa(Ravikishan) wants to marry Indu. will Kalyan takes the challange? who is Gaddappa? Is kalyan became MLA? is the rest of the story?
Performance: it is an Tailer made charectar for kalyan ram. he looks quite handsome in the role. he is improved in dialouge delivery. he looks comfartable in comedy scencs
Kajal does not have important charectar . she is glamorous in songs. Ravikishan as Gaddappa is good. after long time brahmanandam is back with terrifc performance as Lawyer pattabi.
Posani gets a notable role. but he role is adult content . he creates some laughs .Prudvi and prabhas seenu are adequate.
Music: Music by Legendary manisharma is average . none of the songs are matched the standards of Manisharma. And even he reused his previous movies(Kaththi, Aradugula bullet) background music.
Cinematography: cinematography by Prasad murella is top notch.
Analysis: MLA is another routine film from kalyan ram .the concept of the film is good. the 1st half filled some routine comedy and fights .with interval twist story picks up momentum.
there is no proper love thread between kalyanram and kajal. the scencs kalyan ram cheats ajay and his gang looks to silly .2nd half is message driven.it is very predictable. the thread of villain loves heroine and hero cheats villain has seen numerous times on silver screen. climax is totally dump.
overall MLA is an another disappoint from kalyan ram .there is no freshness in the story. routine narration and bouncy fights makes the movie disappoint fare.
