I have been playing this game for over 6 months now and honestly its not what it used to be, a lot has been changed, a few months ago I was thinking about giving a positive review of this, but I am glad that I did not, here is why.
Being a hardcore gamer I liked the concept of this game, which claims to have a fare 5 vs 5 format online game play, where both teams will engage in combat and one would come out victorious. But the "fare game play" which the owning company of this game claims to have is wrong for certain cases which I am about to explain in detail, so at first glance they concept may seem good, but depending on the outcome of the game play its useless and biased.
The down sides of the game comes in its features and functions. The game allows you to buy and choose heroes of all kind and from different classes like Tank / Fighter / Marksmen/ Mage etc and has many battle modes like Rank, Classic etc.
Now the problem with heroes is that all the new heroes which are released are over powered compared to the older heroes, and they keep it that way for a while and ultimately nerf them after a long time. Now if the new heroes are over powered it would not be a fair gameplay if the others are using old heroes, the developers of this game does this deliberately cause cash players will buy the new heroes as long as they are over powered so this causes massive problem for the "free to play" players, and damages the "fair game play" tag they brag about.
Another problem is the constant lag issue, no matter how good internet connection you have you will lag from time to time and this happens specially for the Indian players, as I have talked with many fellow gamers about it. The server is very laggy, while it is affecting us in India, its not necessary that it will affect people from other countries, so they gain the upper hand over us and again the "fair game play" tag is tarnished.
The community is filled with all kinds of people, now its wrong to expect everyone to be righteous and seemingly good hearted players with uber skill levels, yes there are players who are annoying, those who always curse others, some who deliberately plays badly and the whole team suffers, those who act like know it all, for all these the game has a Report option by which we can report a player for certain cases mentioned before. Now the problem is that all what the Report option does is decrease the reported players credit score a little, which could be easily gained back by playing another match, so this feature is pointless.
Even if you contact the devolopers they would send you a generic message which would be computer generated, me and one of my friends had sent messages about the serious issue of lag and such to the developers but we did not get any positive response regarding this.
Over all it would have been a great experience for multiplayer gaming and has a great potential but unless the problems are fixed its not worth it.
