I purchased this Elite 1100 Model ten years back. Hoover has a strong brand name in vacuum cleaners in the west for its perfomance and durability. I purchased it even when Eureka forbes was a hot selling vacuum cleaner with exetensive marketing and service support. my decision to purchase it has given me immense satisfaction.
At home we use it extensively. it is tough, trouble free in performance , easy to clean. the vacuum is powerful and does an efficient job. touch wood till date I had no occasion to call a service engineer. I recommend it . It is a good vacuum cleaner to buy . The plastic mould quality is very good. Adequate cable length is provided . the cable retract is a good feature. the filters are easily removable and washable.
The switch and cable retract button is ergonomically placed. The accessories are durable.
I am sure if properly used and cared, it will be a lifetime buy. After every use, it is always good to empty the dust collection filter bag, clean the exterior and store it in a poythene cover. I am proud to say my vacuum cleaner looks new even today.
