Really this is one of the best movies I have seen made in Bollywood. Watched this last week and it was a very good experience.
The plot is vibrant, and unexpected things happend from time to time which is one of the reasons I liked this movie so much. Devki the lead role of the movie is seen trying to conect with her daughter and failing miserablly almost all the time. She defies her mother and goes to the party and the most unholy things happens with her, and shes broken, and all of this pushes her away even furthur from Devki who was trying her best to help her daughter. Eventually Devki takes upon her self to avenge her daughter and teams up with Daya Shankar Kapoor and goes against the villains namely, Mohit, Jagan, Babu and Charles. The whole story is intense, there are moments were you will find twists and turns, the direction of the movie was great and the writer did a great job which resulted in this movie being so good.
Every one of the diverse cast members played their roles perfectly. The main role of Mom played by Sridevi is elegant, she brings her character to life and makes the viewers worry for the character as she goes through all the lifes ordeals. Arya’s role was played by Sajal Ali she was good too, her acting is great. And Nawazuddin Siddiqui nailed it again with his superb acting skills, his performance great as always. Avimanyu, who played Jagan did a good job too.
The music was thrilling in a good way which suited the movie verywell, the movie is a thriller after all so the musics should be a bit scary and it was, kind of. And as expected all the songs were a nice addition in this movie.
The cinematography is likeable too, specially at the second half of the movie. It was perfect, every shot looked good.
To was a good movie for me and I highly recommend this to everyone, this is one of the best ones this year.
