Till 14th August, afternoon I was totally thrilled for I wanted to surprise my sister on her birthday by a surprise cake party (that too from monginis cake shop) at night at her place. While returning from my office at around 5.30 pm, I got 1 kg of eggless chocolate cake from the Monginis Cake Shop located at Ganga VIshnu Heights, Karvenagar, Pune. After dinner at 9 pm we went to my sister’s place at Warje Highway. It was definitely a surprise for her and we were excited and eager for the monginis cake.
After cutting the cake when I had a bite, I just couldnt gulp it. It tasted so horrible that I just couldn’t eat that small piece. It was stale or may be was not stored in the cold storage or something but the worst monginis cake I had ever had in my life. We just couldnt enjoy d cake party. More we were worried about was that it should not harm our kids appetite as they had a small bite while cutting the cake. Even the kids felt the horrible taste and made ugly faces for the taste.
From this experience, I would like to advice the cake lovers or the monginis cake lovers not to buy from that particular shop at Karvenagar. Instead there’s a monginis shop at Sinhagad road which I would suggest for.
