This is one of the popular restaurants of Thane, which I find convenient for both families and small groups (business lunches). This place is well-known in Thane and even outside the suburb.
Access is convenient - both by rail (Thane station is about 2 km away) and by road (EE highway). The bar and restaurant can be crowded during late evenings, so in case you have a sizeable group, better reserve your table. Being located on a busy road, the space around the restaurant is not much; therefore vehicle owners can face parking problems. However, if you are not comfortable in negotiating the narrow space at the entrance of the restaurant, the valet parking service offered comes in handy especially during peak time.
The ambience inside is good though occasionally you could get disturbed by the noise and revelry coming from the adjoining party hall. The restaurant also scores good points for maintenance. Good variety of drinks and food are offered in the menu complemented by courteous service.
The North Indian & Tandoori items, Continental and Chinese dishes do satisfy the palate. The dishes vary from bland to really spicy ones catering to various tastes. The bar within the restaurant does not intimidate families from frequenting the restaurant - that goes for its popularity.
I have found Moni’s good for having food in a relaxed and unhurried manner. Even if you want to host business lunch / dinner without burning your pocket too much, then Moni’s can be preferred, provided it is near enough to your place or work.
