Monster Hunt is a Chinese movie of which Hindi and English versions and in other languages are available as far as I know. Its a fantasy 3D movie where the monsters are real and they look like the traditional monsters from the legends but like human beings they have good and monsters among themselves.
The plot starts after there has been a fight between monsters and humans and the humans have won, banishing the monsters from their world.
So, when the pregnant monster-queen is threatened, she runs to the human world to save her life where there are professional monster killers available. When the hunters catch up with her she transfers the baby from herself to man before losing her life.
Now, this’pregnant’ man comes across a hunter and the plot revolves around how the baby is born and what is to be done with it, once it is born. The plot is predictable but its a good plot.
The actors have done a good job at depicting the depth of their characters, also the animations are of good quality and expressive, not at all bland.
I didn’t find the music all that impressive but it was probably because the translation was not that accurate and I didn’t get the real thing. It might be better in the original language or other languages.
The picture quality and cinematography was satisfying for the standards of a 3D movie.
There is also an important heart-touching message at the end of the movie which everyone should keep in my mind, I won’t reveal now, you go ahead and watch it.
All in all, its a good movie but its pretty one-time, I won’t be watching it again and again.
