We went there for a sunday lunch. The place is nicely located on 80 ft road. I liked the valet parking service that they are providing to the customers.
We were a group of 4 people. One of us reached there before others and tried to book a table. The person at the gate told that unless the complete group arrives, they wont let him enter and sit. That was quite a shock to recive such kind of behavior. Anyways next we reached there and entered the place.
The decor was good. But the chairs are highly uncomfotable (even though they look good)...So we requested them to move us to a table with sofas. But the waiter refused saying that those tables are booked and are meant for 6 people. (No one came and occupied the table till the time we finished our lunch)...
Next we looked at the menu to order...Well we personally felt that Rs 230/- for a paratha was atrociously expensive. The minimum price of any stuffed paratha that was available was 130/-. We thought that the paratha will come with some condiments. But we were surprised to know that the price includes only the paratha and the paratha itself...nothing else...
Anways then we thought of ordering some raita as a side dish. Surprise Surprise....A restaurant that charges 200/- for a paratha ran out of curd. The waiter has the audacity to tell us that noone eats curd with parathas !! Well I dont think that we are from some other planet... And for sure I know a lot of other people who do like curd with Paratha...
The only good part was after placing the order, they served us some namkins while we were waiting for our food free of charge...Also they do give onions and pickles as well...free of charge....
The parathas were good and so was the dal and the chicken curry that we ordered...But beaware...it can get very heavy as its very very rich and high in calories...Well cant complain there....
The following evening all of us skipped our dinner...it was just tooooooooo heavy...All in all it was a overly expensive place, with very less focus on customers comfort and with good parathas...The choice is yours....well my choice...thumbs down :-(
