I also hold a fixed deposit with Morepen labs. They talk big things. In fact they have a Mumbai office for customers which I think hopefully physically exists but is always mentally absent.
I have been trying to call them umpteen number of times daily but the line is permanently engaged. In fact they have 3 lines which are always engaged. They attend to customers only from 2 to 5 it seems. By chance you ring them up before 2.00 pm the security guard is atleast decent enough to pick up the phone and tell you that please call between 2 to 5 pm. They had recently changed their bankers from ICICI to Corporation bank. This went through another rigmaroles of nightmares for the FD holder.
In fact I have requested them for reissue of a lapsed interest warrant which I am yet to receive after waiting for more than 6 months.
Emails to their head office are also unattended.
They claim a lot of great things but in principle are hopeless, cheats dwindling money out of public.
