In india morphy richards brand is marketed and services by bajaj electricals. I have had the misfortune of buying 2 different morphy richards products (one otg and one toaster), in chennai. I’ll be brief and to the point, no long stories:
Service is bad even within the guarantee period (delayed response, indifferent staff).
Quality of service engineers in terms of product knowledge/ skills/ communication skills very poor.
Spare parts are never available, even in guarantee period i had to escalate to the highest levels, to get defective parts replaced.
I am now stuck with an otg and a toaster, which cannot be repaired because they do not have spares in chennai (products are now out of guarantee period). I was told by the service centre to junk my appliances and buy new ones!
Shame on you bajaj. Don’t sell if you can’t service!
