This movie is set in Bhopal where arranaged marriages and dowry ritual are common. Annie's ( Athiya Shetty ) parents are anxious to get their daughtet married but Annie wishes to marry someone who is settled abroad inorder to made her friend jealous. On the other hand Annie's neighbour Pushpinder( Nawazuddin Siddique) an NRI who has returned from Dubai for a holiday is also searching for a bride. He is thirty year old and is that much desperate that he can marry anyone. Annie realises that Pushpinder could be her last chance so she agreea and gets married with Pushpinder. Then the usual bollywood story goes on. Now coming to their acting skill Nawaz was as usual best but Athiya was okay.Overall Motichoor Chaknachoor is one time movie. Some of the humor seems outdated. The movie could have been more entertaining. The dialogues of the movie can also be hard to comprehend if you are not familiar with the hindi of Bhopal.
