Hang Man? or Mr. Buggy??

Goodlooking doesn’t mean good, true for c200! it looks cute and trendy, is lightweight, easy to operate interface (very similar to t190), has really nice melody composer, LMS (765 characters!) but takes too long to boot(startup), can’t access the phonebook/inbox/tye new mesages/play game for atleast 1st 45 secs. I play the game snake a lot and came across a lot of bugs in it, seems the motorola guys didn’t bother to fix them(had seen the same bugs with t190, the older model).

Ringtones for this are not easily available; only motozone.yahoo.co.in has ringtones for this one, that too many times incmplete ones, and in maharashtra, these are not available on IDEA!! so better off composing yourself! the composer is very nice though.

Has itap dictionary (word prediction) the vibrator isn’t very effective. Keys are too hard (maybe I feel itmore since I play games a lot!) signal reception is without doubt excellent! no complaints about that.

Delivery reports are not in the form on sms, just a flash messge on the screen-initialy I liked the idea, but now wish it gave reports in the form of sms. all in all, priced at Rs. 3500/-, you can say it’s value for money, but pay 500 more and you get the nokia 3315, which I’d say is much better than this.

The c200 could have and should have been a bit better, atleast a little less buggy. so unless you want to try something different(n3315 is too common), you are better off skipping this one. Go for something from phillips/sony-ericsson, I hear they are really nice. Even n2110 and samsung are nice. So I really don’t recommend this one. It’s decent, but should have been better.
