Don’t care too much about social networking but still want to have the ability to post statuses and sync peoples numbers to your phone just from facebook. It’s a bit of hassle adding a picture when people don’t have a facebook though. I usually just select one picture for all people who don’t have facebook as I don’t like blank grey icons.it may well not bother others).

Love to text? My first time with a touch screen keyboard and it was a bit tricky to get used to it but you soon do. I was a bit apprehensive when first using the phone I was like "oh no, hope clicking here doesn’t ring them!" better Soon work out you don’t have to be too cautious though.also I didn’t care for the swipe texting, however some people love it. you can switch to a more conventional texting of multi touch though!

If you’re looking through these reviews, you’re pretty close to buying it, so do yourself a favour and just buy this phone! Honestly you really can’t go wrong apart from the aspects I later go describe.

The size and design of the phone are great, it’s a very tough phone, doesn’t seem to even need a screen protector, I’ve had it in the same pocket as my car keys and hasn’t been scratch at all even after running. Should add I didn’t do it on purpose so wasn’t being extra cautious when doing so.

This phone does everything I want it too and does most of it really well! There are some flaws but they haven’t really bothered me to a point where I’d suggest it ruins the phone.

I find it quite strange that so many suggest this phone hasn’t got a decent battery life.I’ve never had it die on me and I use it very frequently, calls, text a lot too! Watching full screen videos and listening to music or playing games do drain it a lot quick obviously, I’ve still had mine last from 7 am to 1pm even after playing music for two hours and using the phone while doing so and using it quite frequently throughout the day.

In the battery manager, I set it to save battery life, which I do recommend.:)

I did switch the screen to lowest brightness, there is a very good motorola widget provided! That allows you to do this on the fly very quickly, if you really want to up the brightness for a little while. you can also turn off wifi and bluetooth quickly using the widget! if I recall it’s on the screen to start with when you first boot the phone. Ps. if you’re new to android get the "advanced task killer" which is free on the marketplace and put it on the home screen it’s very useful if you use the facebook app(isn’t on the phone to start with I don’t think) because it signs you out of the chat.

Bad Points

Worse aspect of the phone is the contact section issues that can arise after very short time using the phone.however using the favourites app tends to solve the weird issue of not having all your contacts show up.this seems to happen to a lot of people where a vast amount of your contacts just randomly disappear from the contacts. It was annoying until I realised I could still find everyone.

Also when texting if you start to write a name it will still find the person, even if their missing from the contacts. Same for calls. It does make the blue button on right side of the homescreen a bit pointless because I always go through the favourites app now.

I should add that at first all my contacts were synced through Facebook and added a few people who don’t have it and they were all there for a few days and then suddenly a load of people disappeared.:(

Not the end of the world just put the favorites app on home screen and go to that and switch to the contacts section on it. it’s still annoying! Until you work that out!

The camera is far worse than what you would really want. Makes it very awkward to take a picture really and keep the phone steady! However I’d still use the camera if I really wanted too and only had my phone on me.

However this doesn’t bother me so much, as if I was going to take a phone I’d probably just use a camera. Haven’t recorded anything off the phone so don’t know about video imagine it’s not fantastic.

Honestly though I still think the phones great and once you get use to those annoyances the other great aspects of it just shine through. Even with the flaws I mentioned I’ll be happy with this phone for years, which is good because I have a contract for two.:)

Android doesn’t currently allow you to set custom ringtones for different people who call you, could annoy you I only really mention it as I assumed it was already standard (iphone has it) but you can download apps I think to do it, not sure if it’s really worth the hassle to do that though.
