First of all I bought this product because we just moved into a new area, and my husband is in the Navy and going on deployment. I didn’t know a soul here so I thought who am I going to call if I break down? How am I going to call them? So I bought the Motorola Phone at an Alltell booth in Walmart.
I picked up the Standard Motorola phone that I got free with my contract. It’s nothing fancy but it serves its purpose. I haven’t had any trouble with it. It’s a very simple and easy to use phone. The reception is great even when you are in doors in the mall it picks up.
I usually keep it charged daily when I come back home I put it on the charger. I have found that getting in the routine of it helps me out more.
I havent had any trouble with the battery life. It came with one battery and the charger that hooks into your outlet at home. I had to purchase the car charger separately. I got that for roughly $10 at Target.
The phone has multiple features such as vibrating or ringer. There are 12 different rings that you can use. This phone has a timer that you can time your phone calls so that you will know how many minutes you have used of your free time. There is a lock button so that someone cant get into your phone if you lost it or something. There are several other features. The phone comes with a manual and a warranty.
I love the fact that its big enough to hold on your shoulder with your head and not to big that you cant carry in your pocket. Its easy to use and very clear. I recommend that anyone who doesnt have a cell phone and never has to buy this product. I have never had one and thought that I should buy one but now I would never be without a cell phone. I love it and if you are alone with children you definitely need one!
