Poor implementation in Rs 10000 segment

Moto e3 power is Motorola’s budget entry to compete with redmi 3s in RS 10000 segment.

Design and build quality - The Moto e3 power design is unique. You won’t find any phone with similar design at this price point. The looks are average but the smartphone has good build quality.

Performance - Moto e3 power is the Motorola’s first smartphone to come with mediatek processor. The performance is far lower than redmi 3s and the smartphone is not for gamers. Games like asphalt 8 sluggish and suffer frame drops. In normal usage, the phone feels slow and apps takes time to open.

Camera - Like the performance, the camera is also a dissapointment. The color reproduction and sharpness in day light shots are strictly average. There is some noise in the image even in daylight shots. Now you can predict how the low light performance of camera would be.

UI - The smartphone comes with android 6.0 marshmallow and Motorola support around 3years in terms of software updates so this is not a problem. The stock interface is simple to use and many may find the interface much more preferred than others in competition.

Battery - This is where the word ’power’ comes in. The battery life is amazing and can survive for 24 hours or more in normal usage. For heavy users, the battery will get you through the day.

Conclusion - Apart from battery life, the Moto e3 power is a total dissapointment. The performance is pretty bad and is the same case with camera. You should go for redmi note 3 or redmi 3s instead of going with Moto e3 power.
